Varna is the third largest town in Bulgaria. With its botanical gardens it is close to the oldest Bulgarian sea resort of St Constantine, famous for its picturesque beaches and healing thermal water springs.
Varna is considered the pearl of Bulgaria’s Black Sea coast with a great number of places of interest. The town has a wide diversity of museums and exhibits to visit, while the surrounding areas contain many resorts and areas of natural contrast. The summer theatre stages outdoor events from opera to rock and pop concerts. Of course, as in any other large town, there are ample shopping facilities, nightclubs, restaurants and bars.
Through its international airport Varna and the resorts close by are connected by air to Sofia, and by charter flights with many European cities.
You can now fly direct to Varna with Bugarian Airways and British Airways from Madrid each week, and for the skiers, from Alicante to Sofia. With low cost airlines entering the market the number of flights and destinations will only improve which will open up the property market even further. In the last two years property prices have risen by 50% in some regions, mainly coastal and ski resorts, and is expected to grow at the same rate as has been seen in the boom in Spain. Both Thomson and First Choice have recently added Bulgaria to their brochures.
The news last month confirming Bugaria will be joining the European Union in January 2007, make areas like Varna with its airport and miles of golden, sandy, blue flag beaches a very attractive proposition for holidays and investments with so many attractions.
There are two developments available off plan in the Varna area and we are expecting these to be released shortly. They consist of duplex type apartments and 3 bedroomed villas on 800 square metres with pool. If you wish to be in on the first phase of these developments please contact.
